Hypertherm Showcases its Superior X-Definition™
Plasma Technology at IMTEX Forming 2018
- BANGALORE, INDIA — 3 January 2018 — Hypertherm, a U.S. based manufacturer of industrial cutting systems and software, today announces its participation and showcase of the company’s latest plasma technology at the upcoming IMTEX Forming 2018 (25 – 30 January). For the first time at a trade event in India, visitors will witness in action the capabilities and superb cut quality of Hypertherm’s X-Definition plasma during live cutting demonstrations at the company’s stand in Hall 4, Stall C102.
- Hypertherm’s newest class of plasma, X-Definition™, provides industry-leading cut quality and superior performance on all metals, enabled by new technologies such as Vented Water Injection™ (VWI), plasma dampening, and Vent-to-Shield technologies. The result is squarer cut edges, markedly less angularity, and excellent surface finish on non-ferrous metals like aluminum and stainless steel. The cutting-edge technology enables the XPR300 to cut faster, providing users with greater productivity and lower operating costs when compared to earlier Hypertherm systems.
- With X-Definition Plasma and our latest XPR300 system, we’re able to provide improved cut quality and consistency, further enhancing plasma capability to tackle high precision applications.
- Despite being Hypertherm’s most advanced system yet, the XPR300 is easily operated. Sensors in the power supply deliver refined diagnostic codes and significantly enhanced system monitoring information. This reduces troubleshooting time and provides proactive data to boost overall system optimization and uptime. In addition, the system is designed with fewer consoles and connections so operators can reduce time wasted on setting-up, and also maximize cutting time. Other new design features include the EasyConnect™, QuickLock™ and the quickchange torch for added improved usability.
